They have male and female staff who were all super friendly and helpful and knew enough English to be able to help with whatever I needed. The best part about this hotel was the location, Ueno station is one of the major metro stations in Tokyo and it was a convenient 7 min walk. Area was safe, my girls and I would walk from the station back to our hotel after 10pm every day and it was no issue, nobody bats an eye everyone just wants to get home as much as you do. Highly recommend this area if you are coming from Narita airport because there is a train that takes you from Narita airport straight to Ueno and vice versa, it made life so much easier tickets were just $25 as opposed to a $65 taxi. The alleys right in front of Ueno station have great cheap food and close late. The room itself was nothing special but just enough. 7 eleven and Family mart (5 min away) were great for stocking on water bottles and snacks. Always felt safe in this hotel and area.

The Standard Twin Room was roomy and more spacious than other hotels we stayed in Japan. Better than our expectations. The hotel is walking distance to a metro station and JR station with a FamilyMart nearby. Ueno is a bit out of the main Tokyo area however as the metro station is nearby, it was not an issue for us to get around. This is also the main reason that the hotel price is more affordable and I found this hotel is value for money. Our family of 5 with grown up kids stayed in two Standard Twin Rooms next to each other. We enjoyed our final days in Tokyo before flying back home. If you want spacious room, recommend booking the Standard Twin room. We will definitely coming back to this hotel.

My flight got delayed and I loss one night stay in this hotel. Due to that I'm asking for compensation from the flight company and the hotel staff has been very helpful in providing me with related docs for that objective. The room is large enough for my family of 5, very clean and the mattress is also comfy. The lighting is a bit dim, but other than that I have no complaint. The room is actually for 4 people, but since we are 2 adults with 3 young kids, the staff allowed the stay without extra charge. Very friendly and helpful staff I must say :* Hotel is also a walking distance to the Inaricho train station.

I’ve 3 bookings of this hotel in this trip ( total 6 nights) . I’ll sum up in this review. - friendly and helpful staff, quick to solve problem, did not hesitate to talk to guests who didn’t have good manner ( playing loud music at late night) -understand English -Good location -very comfortable bed and pillows -reasonable price -can keep luggages for many night for free as long as you have next booking here ( pls check with the hotel first, I don’t know the maximum days they’ll allow)

The twin room was perfect! One of the biggest hotel rooms I've stayed in Tokyo. We had so much space to unpack and sort out our luggage. Bathroom was wonderful with a bathtub! We also did our laundry at the sister Mystays hotel behind which also has a nice street view of Tokyo Skytree. When we were too lazy to walk to Ueno station, we just took the subway from Inaricho station nearby to save energy. There are min 2 combinis nearby and a Mcd across the road for quick bites.
